The Indigenous Governance of Development: Self-Determination and Success Project (IGD Project) is a collaborative research project between the Australian Indigenous Governance Institute and the Centre for Aboriginal Economic Policy Research at the Australian National University, working in partnership with several First Nation Partners across Australia.
The second Indigenous Governance of Development Project Newsletter showcases Indigenous groups working to reclaim their collective governing authority in ways they feel have cultural validity and strength. As well as the international trend of increasing electronic governance, and the issue of digital access, use and literacy that is critically significant for many Indigenous communities and nations.
