We are thrilled to announce that the Australian Indigenous Governance Institute (AIGI) has been recognised at the 2025 Australian Not-for-Profit Technology Awards, held on Wednesday, 7 May, at the Telstra Customer Insight Centre in Naarm, Melbourne. This prestigious event, part of the Technology for Social Justice Conference, hosted by Infoxchange, celebrates innovation and excellence in the not-for-profit sector.
AIGI received the Best Technology Achievement by a First Nations Person or Group award for our Indigenous Governance Toolkit, acknowledging our commitment to leveraging technology to enhance Indigenous governance. This accolade reflects our dedication to empowering Indigenous communities through effective and culturally appropriate technology use.
The Australian Not-for-Profit Technology Awards honour organisations and individuals who harness technology to drive positive social change. Categories include Not-for-Profit Technology Innovator of the Year, Best Technology Achievement by a First Nations Person or Group, and Technology Volunteer of the Year, among others.
