Brittney Henderson
Project Officer (Learning and Development)
Brittney Henderson is a Wiradjuri, Bunurong/ Boon Wurrung person born, raised and currently working on Wurundjeri and Bunurong/ Boon Wurrung Country.
Brittney is passionate about community advocacy, intersectionality, and women’s rights. They believe the way to create accessible spaces and better health and wellbeing outcomes is through addressing and dismantling power dynamics and systemic discrimination.
Brittney completed their Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne majoring in politics and gender studies. They are now undertaking a Master of Social Policy, with the intention of learning to implement more inclusive and equitable public policy. Their previous work largely centred around Indigenous rights advocacy, working with unions to introduce autonomous spaces and safety measures.
At AIGI, Brittney supports the broader Learning and Development team in promoting and delivering all learning and development projects and initiatives.
