Aboriginal communities in NSW are being invited to take part in a new Local Decision Making governance model as part of the NSW government’s OCHRE initiative. The model will commence in at least three locations across NSW and is designed to give Aboriginal people a greater role in decision making and service delivery. Expressions of interest from NSW Aboriginal communities are open until 25 September 2012. Further information about Local Decision Making and OCHRE can be found here.
