The Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC) released the 2014-2015 top 500 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations report in December 2015.

On 30 November 2012, Social Justice Commissioner Mick Gooda released the 2012 Social Justice and Native Title Reports in Sydney. Both reports focus on what constitutes effective governance in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, including looking closely at government action in the Northern Territory (Social Justice Report) and Prescribed Bodies Corporate as an example of effective Indigenous Governance (Native Title Report).
