Are you interested in learning more about Indigenous data sovereignty and effective practices that can influence governments, agencies, researchers, and institutions to prevent the misuse of data and ensure access to data that is crucial for Indigenous nation rebuilding? If so, please join us at the Indigenous Data Summit.
This summit will bring together Indigenous community members, organisers, leaders, and executives to focus on implementing Indigenous Data Sovereignty through Indigenous Data Governance. With gaps still existing in understanding how to implement Indigenous Data Sovereignty, this summit presents a unique opportunity to refresh the agenda and look towards the future by operationalizing Indigenous Data Governance.
Taking place on Tuesday 13 June in Cairns, one day before the Lowitja Institute’s International Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Conference. This summit is exclusively for Indigenous peoples.
