Ms Michelle Deshong draws connection to Kuku Yulanji nation in North Queensland. She is the CEO of the Australian Indigenous Governance Institute. Michelle will share insight into local and global perspectives of Indigenous Governance excellence.

Dr Jackie Huggins Am
Dr Jackie Huggins is a Bidjara (central Queensland) and Birri-Gubba Juru (North Queensland) woman from Queensland. Throughout her career spanning over four decades, Jackie has played a leading role in reconciliation, literacy, women’s issues and social justice.

June is a proud Bunuba woman from the remote town of Fitzroy Crossing in Western Australia’s Kimberly region. She is a strong advocate for Indigenous Australian languages, social justice, women’s issues, and has worked tirelessly to reduce Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
