Leiarna is a proud Torres Strait Islander woman with heritage connections to the Moa Islands and strong ties to her Aboriginal ancestry.

Leiarna brings extensive experience working with community, youth and Elders.   

Driven by a deep passion for her community, Leiarna is a strong advocate for self-determination, cultural strength, and empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to achieve positive, sustainable outcomes. 

Leiarna is responsible for ensuring strong financial oversight and control at AIGI. She collaborates closely with the CEO and external accountants to maintain financial integrity, guide strategic financial planning, and support compliance and audit readiness.
