Deputy Chair
Alex is a Kabi Kabi djan (man) based in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia).
Alex is currently the First Nations Lead for a large Private Philanthropic Trust and has dedicated the past 15 years to advancing social and economic outcomes for First Nations Peoples. He specialises in co-designing, developing, and implementing strategic policy frameworks aimed at fostering social equity and economic prosperity for First Peoples.
In previous roles, Alex has led significant policy reforms, including the Victorian Aboriginal Housing and Homelessness Framework and RMIT University’s ‘Investing in the Relationship: Our Role in Indigenous Enterprise Flourishing’ framework.
Alex is also a Global Atlantic Fellow at the Atlantic Institute, Oxford, and holds a Master of Social Change Leadership as well as a postgraduate qualification in Education from the University of Melbourne.
